Mucubají Lagoon

Here is the panoramic photo I intended to post, but there is no good way of uploading panoramic photos to flickr, the resizing to "medium" makes them so tiny you can't see anything. This is the Laguna de Mucubají, in Mérida, Venezuela. It is part of a national park called Sierra Nevada which was created on May of 1952 and has a total area of about 683,100 acres. It is a glaciar lagoon and is estimated to be about 10,000 years old.

For what I know and have seen in photos, it's usually very cloudy and you can barely see anything with all the fog, I was lucky to get excellent photo-weather and was able to get this view.

Esa laguna es muy impresionante, como dice el Pank, creo que pocas veces esta así tan despejada, siempre tiene neblina... =) tremenda captura!!!

Pank, que suerte ese día entonces! espero que cuadres ese viaje :D y la panorámica que puse nisiquiera es tamaño original, tuve que reducirla porque en original es demasiado grande (10543 x 2233), pero igual está bien grande la que puse :)

Negribiris, chevere que te gustó! la edición del tirro fué con un pincel de photoshop que tiene forma de tirro, solo puse una al lado de la otra y le di con el pincel. Y la panorámica la hice con el programa que trae la cámara para hacer panorámicas.
